OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Here are the conditions at Oklahoma lakes as reported Wednesday by the state Department of Wildlife Conservation and lake rangers.

CENTRAL

Arbuckle: Elevation 3 ft. below normal, water clear. Crappie good on minnows and jigs, 25 ft. Konawa: Elevation normal, water 54 and clear. Black bass fair on plastic worms, 15 ft., near the discharge canal. Murray: Elevation 4 ft. below normal, water 58 and clear. Sandbass fair on minnows; crappie fair on minnows. Texoma: Elevation 4 ft. below normal, water 52. Striped bass good on live bait, 15-20 ft., near islands.


NORTHEAST

Birch: Elevation normal, water murky. Crappie good on minnows and jigs, 10-15 ft., near the tower and in creeks near brush piles. Copan: Blue catfish good on live shad in the main lake. Eucha: Elevation normal, water 50. All fishing reported good. Fort Gibson: Elevation normal, water 52 and clear. Channel catfish good on fresh shad at Sequoyah and Jackson Bay; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 10 ft., near brush piles. Grand: Crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 10 ft., near brush piles. Greenleaf: Water clear. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs near docks. Hudson: Sand bass good, 15-20 ft.; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 8-12 ft., near brush piles and heated docks. Hulah: Elevation normal, water 58. Channel catfish fair on cut shad. Kaw: Elevation 5 ft. above normal, water murky. Crappie fair on small jigs, 12-18 ft., near flooded timber. Spavinaw: Elevation normal, water 50 and clear. All fishing reported good. Tenkiller: Elevation 3 ft. below normal, water clear. Crappie excellent on minnows near boat docks and brush piles, 15-25 ft. Webbers Falls: Water murky. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs near bridges and brush piles.


SOUTHEAST

Eufaula: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water murky. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs near boat docks.


NORTHWEST

Canton: Elevation 2 ft. below normal. Hybrids and walleye fair below the dam; crappie fair in main lake.


SOUTHWEST

Foss: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 50. Sand bass fair on live shad and small jigs near the marina and off rip rap; saugeye fair on live shad off points. Fort Cobb: Elevation normal, water murky. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait off windy points; crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 15-20 ft., near marinas and brush piles. All fishing is reported as slow at the following lakes: Altus-Lugert, Arcadia, Atoka, Broken Bow, Carl Blackwell, Draper, Fort Supply, Hefner, Keystone, McGee Creek, Oologah, Overholser, Robert S. Kerr, Sardis, Sooner, Thunderbird, Wister.
