Oklahoma Beef Recall

Thousand of pounds of beef is being voluntarily recalled by Supreme Beef Process, Incorporated from Oklahoma and seven other states. The ground beef with sell dates of only December 28th are being recalled because federal inspectors say it may be contaminated with E- coli bacteria.
It is labeled Supreme Beef Processors, Incorporated or Spiritas Farms, and the establishment number is 7-1-4-3. Also included is Supreme Beef Processors five- and ten-pound chub ground beef with sell dates of January 4th or 5th.
Chub is an industry term denoting ground beef packaged in a cylindrical or tube-like container. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall. The ground beef was produced on December 20th.
