Tokyo police believe extremists sparked fires that broke out almost at the same time on three trains Sunday. The trains service Tokyo's airport.
Nobody was injured in the blazes that erupted at stations near Tokyo International Airport. Authorities say they were quickly putout.
A Japanese news agency reports timed incendiary devices were found in the trains. Radical leftists have been blamed for attacks on planes and buses in the past.
Sunday's fires come two days after a garbage bag removed from a bullet train in western Japan exploded.
