(Woodward-AP) -- A former Mooreland police officer is on his way to prison. Sean Patrick Gore has admitted having a firearm after being convicted of a felony.
Gore pleaded guilty in March to burglary and possession of methamphetamine. He received suspended sentences on each of the convictions. But Gore was arrested again less than four months later on a warrant for failure to appear on a civil complaint. Officers found two guns and a bag of methamphetamine.
A judge revoked four years of Gore's suspended sentence after Gore stipulated to unlawful possession of a firearm. Gore was a police officer in Mooreland when he was first arrested in September 1998. He tried to hang himself in the Woodward County Jail following his second arrest.
