A Tulsa company is providing some "titanic help" to a large relic recovered from the wreck of the Titanic. The artifact is being preserved by MESA Products for the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
The relic is a complete rod bearing assembly used to attach an engine piston to the ship's crankshaft. It will be treated to prevent further erosion. MESA is a nation-wide provider of corrosion control systems for pipeline and underground storage tanks.
