A delegation of Russian business people has just completed a five-week visit to Tulsa as a part of Community Connections, a program supported by the United States Information Agency and administered locally by the Tulsa Global Alliance (TGA).
Its purpose is to provide practical training opportunities in the U.S. for business people, government officials, legal professionals and non-governmental organization leaders from the former Soviet Union. Each visitor spent two and a half weeks with two different host families and served an internship with a local company. As one of fifty organizations to receive funding to support this program, TGA looks forward to future visits. Chamber staff helped to set up internships and home stays with host families for TGA.
