(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State University wants criminal charges of hazing filed against members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
O-S-U is asking prosecutors to file the charges following a two-year investigation.
University officials say the fraternity has been placed on a temporary suspension but probably WILL be allowed to remain on campus.
Greek life coordinator Victor Byrd says the national office suspended all of the chapter members pending an investigation over the Christmas break.
The university is accusing the fraternity members of inflicting psychological abuse, sleep deprivation and extreme intimidation on fellow members.
Fraternity members also are accused of offensive touching by paddling and of alcohol violations.
