The Broken Arrow teacher who police say admitted to having sexual contact with a student is out of jail.
33-year-old Cynthia Alexander was released after posting a $200,000 bond. Alexander didn't have much comment, but did say she isn't ready to make a statement about the charges against her.
Police say the cheerleading coach and teacher has confessed to inappropriately touching a 13-year-old girl on several occasions. Investigators found correspondence in Alexander's home that they say could lead to more witnesses in the case.
Parents of cheerleaders at the school say they would like a response from the school and that their daughters are quite shaken up. The superintendent of Broken Arrow says that a letter will be going home to parents Monday explaining the school's actions.
