Arkansas basketball coach Nolan Richardson says he's ready to see his team in action after they faced an exhibition game against players not up to par.
The Razorbacks open their season Monday night at Fayetteville against Texas-Arlington.
Richardson says he doesn't think that practice and two exhibition games have given him a good feel for his squad. But he expects to find out a lot more about the team during next week.
One thing Richardson has seen in exhibition games that he didn't like was the Razorbacks' free-throw shooting. He said missing eleven free throws, as the Razorbacks did in one exhibition game, doesn't really reflect the team.
After Monday's game against Texas-Arlington, the Razorbacks travel to Hawaii for the Big Island Invitational, which starts the day after Thanksgiving.
The starting lineup Monday will be Dionisio Gomez, Brandon Dean, Brandon Davis, Chris Walker and Teddy Gipson.
