Oklahoma State faces a lot of obstacles on the way to the postseason.
The Cowboys, who have had a tough time against good passing teams, will face the most prolific passer in the Big 12 -- Major Applewhite -- on Saturday.
O-S-U also will have to deal with junior running back, Hodges Mitchell, who is averaging 101 yards a game and five-point-two yard a carry. They'll also face a defense anchored by what coach Bob Simmons says are two of the best tackles in the conference, Casey Hampton and Shaun Rogers.
And to cap it off, the Cowboys need to win. At 3-and-4 overall, 1-and-3 in the Big 12, they must win three of their final four games to have a shot at a bowl berth.
At 7-and-2 overall, 4-and-1 in the Big 12, Texas is assured of a bowl bid and are taking aim at a South Division title.
