In the best of circumstances, relocation is a risky venture. Relocation expenses and the possibility that a new position might not meet expectations can be enough to derail plans to strike out for a promising job. Fortunately for people who relocate to Tulsa, apartment rental rates remain low in comparison to those in other cities and make the decision to relocate at least a little easier. A two-bedroom apartment in the Tulsa area rents for $541 per month, a rate that is about 90 percent of the national average and significantly less than one would find in most cities of similar size. The average two-bedroom apartment rents for $658 in St. Louis, $566 in Kansas City, $757 in Denver, $799 in Dallas and $741 in Albuquerque.
