The parents of Columbine gunman Dylan Klebold are planning to sue local authorities.

Thomas and Susan Klebold allege authorities in Jefferson County, Colorado are partly to blame for the April school shooting that
left 15 people dead, including the two gunmen.

An attorney for the Klebolds has filed notice of their intent to sue Jefferson County Sheriff John Stone and two other sheriff's officials for negligence.

The families of 13 Columbine victims also plan to sue the countyand the school district.

The Klebolds say authorities didn't tell them about the potentially violent tendencies of the other Columbine gunman, Eric Harris, and his relationship with their son.
