Authorities in Tulsa and Ottawa Counties are working together to sort through graphic pieces of evidence in a child pornography arrest. Police have three people in custody in the case where children were videotaped having sex with adults.

Police say Jarrod Julian and his wife Heike Julian arranged sexual encounters for their 16-year-old daughter and nine-year-old son. They say the couple made videotapes of the activity and sold the tapes. The couple has been arrested, along with Truman Wolery, who police say can be seen in a videotape having sex with a 13-year-old.

Tulsa sex crimes sergeant Pat Calhoun says he will have a search warrant by Monday and will review the 68 videos and at least 50 diskettes they seized during the arrests. "We need to determine from that whether we have any more victims, any more suspects," said Calhoun, "if we're able to identify any of those victims or suspects." Calhoun says logging the tapes will be a long and drawn out process. "Each act that is performed in the videotape is a separate count," he said. "So you have to stop at that point, record the time and where it is on the tape and move on to the next one."

Mental health experts say children who are sexually abused can recover from such tragedy. Dr. John Sargent, a psychiatrist with Menninger Psychiatric Hospital, says that children can be helped to understand how to cope with dealing with
embarrassment. "Actually talking about it is the way to get healthy," he said.

Sargent says a child has to understand the abuse was not their fault. He says once they can grasp that concept, they can lead a normal life. But no matter what the treatment, Sargent says it will be a lifetime of recovery.
