(Tulsa-AP) -- Mike Champagne says his company's recipe for success is "service, service, service."
The Tulsan and his wife Kim started their custom metals business, Champagne Metals, which is an Oklahoma success story.
He says he decided to start the business after he became frustrated with the steel company he worked for not being able to fill orders.
Mike and Kim spent much of their first year working off the kitchen table. But that first year they toted up ten million dollars in sales.
Champagne Metals is in its third year and has moved twice to expand their office and plant.
Now they're in a 137-thousand square foot building which is three times the size of their original building.
The company buys metal in massive coils weighing eight-thousand to 60-thousand pounds.
