(Oklahoma City-AP) -- For the second straight day, a Wynnewood
football player is in critical condition after collapsing during a
game.

Daniel Knowles has a head injury. Hospital officials this
morning wouldn't give any details about the particular injury.

Knowles' father, Roy, says doctors have told his family to
expect the worst. But Roy Knowles told The Sunday Oklahoman that
he's ready for whatever path his son's life takes.

Daniel Knowles ran for 112 yards and scored three touchdowns in
the season opener Friday night against Sulphur before collapsing.

Witnesses of the tackle say Knowles wasn't hit that hard.
