There is no comment from Dodi Fayed's father, Mohamed Al Fayed, on the news that the charges against photographers may be dismissed in the car crash that killed his son and Princess Diana.
Court officials in Paris say France's state prosecutor has recommended that charges be dismissed against nine photographers and a press motorcyclist, who were pursuing the car when it crashed.
Officials tell the Associated Press that the prosecutor decided there's not enough evidence to pursue charges of manslaughter and failing to aid people in danger. Diana, Fayed and their driver died in August of 1997 in the crash in a Paris traffic tunnel.
The judge investigating the accident handed the case over to the state prosecutor this summer. But he doesn't have to follow the prosecutor's recommendation.
