Street improvement areas include:
Riverside Drive and 81st Street: Two southbound lanes are now open. Northbound traffic remains one lane. The project to extend Riverside Drive from 81st to 91st streets should be complete in October.
51st Street and Lewis Avenue Intersection: Crews are repairing curb, gutter and sidewalks and overlaying the intersection with asphalt. Motorists should expect delays for about another week; left turns will not be permitted at the intersection during the work.
Gilcrease Museum Road Between Haskell Street and Haskell Place is closed for about another week for repairs to a collasped box culvert. Detour signs are directing traffic through this area.
Denver Avenue, Eighth to 11th Streets: The southbound lane of Denver Avenue is closed between Eighth and 11th Streets for about 20 days while crews build the sidewalk and curb on the west side of the street.
The 11th Street Bridge Over Cooley Creek will be closed between 129th and 138th East Avenues for about two to three more weeks. Crews are rebuilding the bridge and widening the road on both ends of the bridge.
Apache Street, Boston Place To Main Street: Apache Street is closed between Boston Place and Main Street. Traffic on Apache has been diverted to Zion Street for access to the L.L. Tisdale Parkway.
Cheyenne Avenue, Just Norht of Apache Street: Cheyenne Avenue is closed just north of Apache Street. Crews are widening Apache to four lanes from the Tisdale Parkway to Cincinatti Avenue. Estimated completion of the project will be in about 30 days.
Jasper Street between Cincinatti and Elgin Avenues is closed for About 30 Days: Motorists are advised to use Independence Street as an alternate route.
North Cincinatti Avenue Between Jasper and Pine Street is narrowed to two lanes. Traffic has been moved to the southbound lanes. Sections of Cincinatti Avenue are being improved and straightened.
Cooley Creek Bridge On Garnett Road, South Of I-244 And North Of Admiral: Replacement of this bridge was delayed because the contractor defaulted due to bankruptcy. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has hired a new contractor, Becco, to finish the job. Completion is expected in September.

Admiral Place Between Interstate 44 And 145th East Avenue: Construction crews are widening this part of Admiral. Through traffic on Admiral between 129th East Avenue and 145th East Avenue is blocked for about six months. Motorists are advised to use either 21st Street or Pine Street for an alternate route.
61st Street, Memorial To Sheridan: Southbound access to 61st Street from 74th and 76th East Avenue is closed until September. Crews are widening 61st Street to five lanes, including a center left-turn lane.
