A man is back behind bars after escaping from officers and stealing a Collinsville Police car, while in handcuffs.

Franklin Klutts was originally arrested Saturday night after a traffic stop, but authorities said he managed to get his handcuffed hands in front of him and get out of the seatbelt. Collinsville Police say that's when he stole the police car and took off.

Officers say Klutts apparently crashed the car somewhere in Tulsa County, and it was not clear how he got to a wooded area near Vera, where he was found.

Authorities are still trying to determine what charges to file.
