JAY, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities have recovered the body of a missing Eucha man after three days of search efforts.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 42-year-old Robert Brown was found Friday night. Brown went missing after a boating accident.
Sherry Brown and Donielle Kaylene Dingsor were passengers in the bass boat when it began taking on water and sank.
Both were able to make it to shore using life jackets stored on the boat.
Dive teams from the Cherokee Nation, Tulsa Police Department and the Grand River Dam Authority, and 40 law enforcement officers were involved in the recovery efforts.
The Browns had purchased the 1985 bass boat Monday and were eager to take it out on Lake Eucha.
The boat sank in 40 feet of water about a mile from the Lake Eucha Bridge near U-S 59.
