Oklahoma's anti-meth law is getting more attention around the country.
Now, North Carolina sheriffs, a firefighter and the attorney general want a law similar to ours. Lawmakers in that state are considering a measure restricting the sale of popular cold medicines used to manufacture methamphetamine.
It also requires consumers to provide a photo and limit the number of cold tablets that can be purchased in a month.
Oklahoma officials report an 80-percent decline in meth labs here since the bill was passed last year.
