Authorities put a stop to a major supplier of methamphetamine in Tulsa after an undercover bust in rural Pawnee County.

Investigators believe the lab was operating for more than two years. They were tipped off by the property owner buying gallons of iodine, a key ingredient in meth. Four suspects were arrested on the scene, all women.

Deputies say the lab produced a pound of the drug every week or about $25,000 worth on the street. Pawnee County Sheriff Roger Price: "It's not sold in small quantities here locally. The main cook is from the Tulsa area, and they come over here to do their cooking, then they haul it back to Tulsa and disseminate it."

In a nearby shed, sheriff’s deputies also recovered a stolen vehicle and 15 pounds of pseudoephedrine. Officials say more arrests are likely.
