OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Union workers at Bridgestone-Firestone's Dayton tire plant in Oklahoma City will attend strike-training sessions next week as they prepare for a possible strike.
The Oklahoma City plant has about 1,800 employees who are among about 6,000 who've been working on a day-to-day contract for nearly two years. The company or the union can cancel the contract by giving five days notice.
The United Steelworkers of America says Local 998 in Oklahoma City and seven other locals will hold sessions on coordinating pickets and picket lines and officials will answer questions.
