An elderly Tulsa man with Alzheimerâ€™s has been found, after surviving freezing overnight temperatures when he broke out of an assisted living center.

A little after 4 AM Friday, employees at the center found the window kicked out in 84-year old Elmer Morrison's room.

Tulsa Police officers and helicopters searched for Morrison for several hours. He was found at 8:30 AM after walking into a thrift store a mile away.

Morrison's daughter says this is the first time he's ever walked out of the facility.
