An Oklahoma ' Survivor' is moving on with her life

She turned into an international TV star on the CBS show "Survivor: Vanuatu". Scout was the crafty contestant with the signature orange hat. Now she's back in Oklahoma and doing more than surviving.

She turned into an international TV star on the CBS show "Survivor: Vanuatu". Scout was the crafty contestant with the signature orange hat. Now she's back in Oklahoma and doing more than surviving.

News on 6 reporter Omar Villafranca says when Scout Cloud Lee was voted out of the game, she returned home to the comforts of modern living.

On her 80-acre ranch south of Stillwater, she doesn't have to brush her teeth with bamboo or drink from a canteen. But she could if she wanted to. The transition back to normal life wasn't easy. "It was really tough. I didn't want to see anybody. Whew, it was hard coming back home. I just wanted to be with my family and be on the land and get some laughs."

She kept mementos from her time on Vanuato, but she's moving on with her life. She's back running the successful corporate challenge course she built 26 year ago, but now with a new twist. â€œNow, since Survivor, you can bring a backpack, what you can get in backpack. You get 2 pair of underwear. I'm really going to play with them like that." While on the island, Scout was the energetic personality, the nurturing figure. She's the same back on her ranch.

With her partner Annie nearby, she talks about her horses and other animals like they're her children. And even after living in the cold and wet terrain of the island, constantly looking over her shoulder, going back crosses her mind. â€œWhen I walked off the island, I said no, I'd never do this again. Don't ask. I'm not coming back. I'm not going to do this. But yes, I would, I actually would.â€

Even though she didn't win, Scout says she's doing fine. Probably because she's a survivor. Scout still spends several weeks on the road working and making appearances.

But when she gets back home, listen up you Survivor fanatics; she plans on asking Rupert from Survivor: Pearl Islands to come help with a session at her corporate challenge course.
