New information about a Claremore based Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter that crashed near the Oklahoma, Arkansas border Monday afternoon.

71 year old Robert Arneson of Harlingen, Texas was killed when the chopper crash landed just after take-off.

Authorities say the pilot told them the helicopter was about 500 feet in the air, when it lost power and dropped. Three members of the crew were seriously injured in the crash.

The FAA and the NTSB are still investigating what caused the crash.
