PONCA CITY, Okla. (AP) -- Police in Ponca City are investigating a shooting that left a 34-year-old man dead.

Police say the man had grabbed another man's wife and was threatening her when the other man went into his house, retrieved a gun and started firing.

Police say the victim was shot once in the head. He was taken to a Ponca City hospital, where he died.

His name has not been released.
