OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A prominent Oklahoma City attorney is facing a charge of domestic abuse.

William -M- Daniel of the law firm Daniel and Conway was named in a misdemeanor count this week in connection with an alleged incident involving his wife.

Court records show Oklahoma City Police responded to the couple's residence in the early hours of February 6th.

Police say they found Jayme Daniel with scratches on her forehead, neck, chest and stomach. Her shirt was torn and she reported that her husband had grabbed her around the neck and taken off her belt and put it around her neck.

Police took William Daniel into custody, and he was later released after posting $4,000 bail.
