TULSA, Okla. (AP) Caleb Green had a season-high 31 points to lead Oral Roberts past Western Illinois 85-55 in a Mid-Continent Conference game.

Green also had a game-high 12 rebounds for his 27th career double-double. Jonathan Bluitt had 16 points and five assists for the Golden Eagles and Mickey Michalec added 14 Thursday night.

Fred Oguns paced the Leathernecks with 16 points and David Jackson scored 11.

ORU led 44-21 at intermission, but the Leathernecks cut the deficit to 50-34 with 13:19 left.

Bluitt drilled consecutive treys to ignite a 10-to-nothing run for a 60-34 lead and Western Illinois never got closer than 22 points during the rest of the game.

The Golden Eagles shot 53% from the field compared with 34% for Western Illinois.

ORU improves to 18-and-5, while Western Illinois falls to 7-and-15.
