MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- Smoke inhalation may have killed a man who was found in a Muskogee apartment.

19-year-old Johnathan Jarrad was discovered Sunday morning in the bathtub of the residence he shared with his brother.

Police Sergeant Lonnie Bemo says investigators don't know the source of the blaze, but believe Jarrad was trying to get water to put on the blaze while his brother, Preston, tried to get a hose from outside.

Police arrested Preston Jarrad and Michael Deshazer at the scene on complaints of disorderly conduct for both and resisting arrest for Preston Jarrad.

According to Bemo, the men were interfering with the firefighters.

Preston Jarrard was later released to his grandfather and Deshazer was released on bail.

Jonathan Jarrard's body was sent to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
