LAS VEGAS (AP) _ University of Oklahoma gymnast Jonathan Horton is a qualifier for the Winter Cup event finals in Las Vegas.

Horton -- a freshman at O-U -- finished fourth in the floor exercise and 12th on the vault, good enough to put him into tonight's event finals in those two events. He finished eighth in the all-around competition.

The Winter Cup competition determines six of the spots on the 2005 U-S Men's Senior National Team.
