A collision between two tanker trucks on I-44 in Tulsa Friday shut down a part that busy highway for most of the day, but it's now back open.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one truck rear-ended the other. The crunch also pushed the first truck into the driver side of a car. Both trucks were hauling hot tar. The tankers were too heavy to tow away and had to be emptied before being moved.

Traffic on that stretch of I-44 was rerouted while crews cleaned up the mess.
