Owasso gets a major playground development donation

The community of Owasso is growing in leaps and bounds, and Wednesday, they got another big boost. <br/><br/>The Owasso Community Build playground project got a $100,000 donation Wednesday morning.

The community of Owasso is growing in leaps and bounds, and Wednesday, they got another big boost.

The Owasso Community Build playground project got a $100,000 donation Wednesday morning. The donation came from the same development team building the new Smith-Farms Marketplace.

The community built playground will be the largest of its kind in Oklahoma. Community volunteers of all ages will help construct the playground, landscaping and walking trails.

It's expected to open in May 2005.
