The Tulsa Police Department made a number of promotions in the ranks Tuesday.

Police Chief Dave Been announced a new corporal, two sergeants and a Captain Tuesday. He also promoted Dennis Larsen to the rank of major and Mark McCrory[pictured] to the level of deputy chief, the second highest position in the department.

The chief also recognized the department's chaplains for their volunteer service.
