ENID, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities have identified two people who were hurt when fire broke out at an Enid grain elevator.

The blaze ignited a flour-dust explosion inside the Archer Daniels Midland flour mill near downtown Enid at about 12:45 PM Monday.

Several buildings were damaged, but all the workers were accounted for.

Officials say Wayne Rivers suffered second- and third-degree burns to the face, hands and back, and is listed in fair condition at a local hospital. Robert Rogers was treated for second-degree burns to the back of his head and released from the hospital.

Officials evacuated the area near the mill out of fear there might be a second explosion inside an adjacent grain elevator.

Witnesses say the explosion occurred as rail cars were being loaded at the mill. The blast reportedly threw large concrete chunks up to 500 feet.
