OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A skydiving accident that killed an Edmond man is the second such fatal accident for one Oklahoma family.

Richard Gerrond planned to make his 100th jump with his brother a week ago. But his skydiving career -- and his life -- ended on jump 99.

Gerrond's brother Dennis Jensen said says only skydivers can understand the love and passion for jumping.

Jensen was five minutes from the Dallas drop zone January 15th when he learned about his brother's accident. He completed the planned jump alone, just hours after Gerrond.

Jenson says Gerrond's parachute opened but malfunctioned. His funeral was held at Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City.

A similar accident claimed the life of youngest brother Bill Jensen in October. It was his 80th jump.
