A Tulsa hospital received a big pat on the back Wednesday for its giving spirit.

The United Way presented the Golden Paintbrush award to Saint Francis Health System. The hospital received this honor based on its outstanding service by employees on its 2004 Day of Caring project.

Kathleen Coan with the Tulsa Area United Way: "The day of caring kicks off our campaign, that day is a day when agencies and the community come together."

St Francis was nominated for this award by its partner agency, Reaching Hands, for their work with elderly clients during a fishing day event.
