LAWTON, Okla. (AP) Lawton officials have arrested a Cache man after his late-night drive to quench a craving went wrong.

Lawton police arrested the 41-year-old man at around 2 a-m Saturday after he drove through a McDonald's restaurant.

A police report says the man apparently passed out in the drive-through, running his vehicle into the restaurant's brick wall.

When patrol officers arrived at the scene the car was still running and in drive gear, the man was still asleep at the wheel, and it took officers a full minute to rouse him.

The man was dazed but uninjured and was transported to jail. His blood alcohol level was point 2, nearly twice the legal limit.
