OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma City police are investigating two separate overnight shootings in southwest Oklahoma City that left one man dead and a teenage boy injured.

Lt. Don Holland said police received a call about 7:10 p.m. Sunday from a home in the 2200 block of SW 30.

Holland said the caller told police a relative was found lying shot on the front porch. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, whose identity has not been released, later was pronounced dead at the scene.

Holland said police did not have a description of the shooter.

Police also responded to another shooting earlier in the day. It occurred about 5:15 p.m. in the 3100 block of SW 17.

Holland said a 13-year-old boy told police he was walking home after playing basketball when a group of men began to heckle him. One of the men then pulled a gun and shot the boy in the foot, Holland said.

The boy was taken to OU Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Holland said police had no information that would link the two shootings.
