An unusual protective order has been imposed against a Cherokee County man.

It's against Richard Lee Corbell and was granted to the Briggs School District. Corbell was arrested this week after he allegedly threatened teachers and children with his pick-up truck. Officials say the pickup sped toward a group of children.

A teacher pushed them out of the way, and was hit. The teacher is okay.

Corbell has 3 young children in the school district. He faces a variety of charges, and he cannot go on school property for the next 3 years.
