Tulsa attorney Douglas Golden took the oath of office as Creek County's new district judge Monday afternoon.
Governor Brad Henry chose Golden from a list of nominees. Golden is an NSU graduate and earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University.
Judge Golden replaces Donald Thompson, who retired last September after being accused of using a sexual device during court.
