EL RENE, Okla (AP) _ An inmate who escaped from the federal minimum-security prison at El Reno last month is back in custody.

Carlos Ray Brewster was arrested by US marshals Thursday at a restaurant in East Los Angeles, California.

Brewster was serving a nearly 22-year sentence for possession with intent to distribute cocaine when he escaped on December 19th.

Prison spokesman Barry Edwards says Brewster will be extradited back to Oklahoma and will be charged with escape.
