OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahomans have given $50,000 to the American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma to help tsunami victims in south Asia.
The board's chairman Gary Marrs says the money will help pay for food, hygiene kits, tents and kitchen supplies.
Americans have pledged $103.2-million to the American Red Cross for the tsunami relief effort.
So far, the organization has purchased 95,000 hygiene kits, 10,000 family kits, 4,900 kitchen sets and 2,576 tents.
The Red Cross also sent a delegation of relief workers to Sri Lanka, Maldives and Indonesia.
