One man is dead after an accident involving a train and truck near Mannford.

The collision happened Thursday night at the crossing near the junction of Highways 48 and 51 west of Mannford. The Oklahoma highway patrol says the truck was on Highway 48 when the train hit it, dragging it half a mile.
37-year-old Donald Brown from Terlton was killed in the accident. Officials had to shut down highway 48 for several hours, but the road is now back open.
