Fight with suspects ends with Enid Police officers injuried

ENID, Okla. (AP) Three Enid police officers suffered minor injuries after a scuffle with suspects at a local motel. <br/><br/>The officers were injured while trying to arrest James Charles Ellis, the third.

ENID, Okla. (AP) Three Enid police officers suffered minor injuries after a scuffle with suspects at a local motel.

The officers were injured while trying to arrest James Charles Ellis, the third. He was arrested after a foot chase. He faces two complaints of assault and battery on a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and escape from detention.

Officers went to the Enid motel looking for another man when Ellis assaulted one of them.
