Oklahomans are reaching out to help earthquake and tsunami victims. Oklahoma City's Feed the Children is collecting items to fill an airplane that will fly out in early January.
Larry Jones says this disaster is tough. Not only does it stretch over several countries and involve hundreds of thousands of victims and huge obstacles, it happened at the worst possible time, during a holiday. Larry Jones with Feed the Children: "All of the things that could go wrong, have gone wrong in this one. I don't think Americans can really understand the totality of the need in these countries."
Feed the Children is just one of several organizations taking cash donations. The American Red Cross is also offering disaster assistance through the International Response Fund.
