Governor Brad Henry has named a new judge to a Creek County seat.

The governor appointed lawyer and part-time TU instructor Douglas Golden to take over the seat vacated by Judge Donald Thompson.

Thompson retired amid allegations of sexual misconduct in the courtroom.
