OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) An Oklahoma City convenience store owner accused of fatally shooting an unarmed man will remain in jail.
Oklahoma County Special District Judge Russell D. Hall denied bail Wednesday for Trung N. Duong, 49.
Duong is being held in the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder in the Dec. 16 death of Anthony Frederick Rowe, 35.
Duong was arrested after a shooting at his T&D Convenience Store. Police said a man entered the store that night and grabbed numerous cartons of cigarettes.
When the man turned to leave, Duong opened fire with a 9 mm pistol, police said.
Rowe, Oklahoma City, died at the scene.
