LOCUST GROVE (AP) -- A man fell to his death Monday from a cellular phone tower in rural Mayes County.

Mayes County Sheriff Frank Cantey says they haven't determined what caused the man to fall from the tower Monday afternoon.

Cantey says the man was apparently working on the tower. Authorities haven't yet determined what company operates the tower.

The man was dead when emergency crews got to the scene about five miles south of Locust Grove.
