Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers need help to find the driver of a car that hit a woman while she was walking with her
12 year old son along I-244 on December 7th around 10:30 PM. Anita Robbins' car had broken down and she and her son were walking toward the Sheridan exit to use a phone when a car hit Anita.
Her left ankle is shattered and she can't work for three months, but still Anita is thinking positively. "I'm thankful my son wasn't touched. I'm thankful I'll be okay and can work again. It could've been worse."
Troopers say a woman with a baby got out of the car that hit Anita, but then left the scene, even though the accident would not have been her fault. She was in a dark blue metallic Acura or Honda Civic that had previous damage to the passenger side and has even more now.
If you have information about this car, you can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
