OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A federal judge orders the release of more than $800,000 to a trust for the children of a woman convicted of killing their father.
The $831,272 plus interest comes from a life insurance policy authorities say was at the center of a plot by Brenda Andrew and her lover to kill Rob Andrew.
US District Judge Robin Cauthron says the money will be used to care for, support and educate Tricity and Parker Andrew.
The remaining portions will be divided equally and released to the children once they turn 35.
Oklahoma County juries convicted Brenda Andrew and James Pavatt of first-degree murder in the November 20th, 2001, shooting death of Rob Andrew.
Both were sentenced to death.
